Taiwan Middle Blocker Chai Pei-chang Joins Men’s Volleyball Hyundai Capital Training
Taiwanese middle blocker Tsai Fei-chang (22), who was selected by Hyundai Capital in April’s Asian Quarterly Draft, joined the squad training at the Castle of Skywalkers in Cheonan, Chungcheongnam-do, today.
The Hyundai Capital team said that Chai Fei-chang, who arrived in the country on April 17, was able to train with his new teammates for a short time due to the consideration of the Taiwanese men’s national volleyball team.
After graduating from high school, the 203-centimeter tall Chai Pei-chang played for Pingtung Taiwan Power in the 2018 Taiwan Unemployment League, where he was named the best middle blocker last season. His specialties are fastball and serve.
“I am grateful to Hyundai Capital for giving me the opportunity to play directly in the Korean League,” Chai said through the club, adding, “I will do my best to quickly adapt to the team and become a useful player for the team in the 2023-2024 season.”
Tsai Fei-chang is scheduled to fly back to Taiwan on the 29th of this month to compete in the Asian Championships, Asian Games, and other events with the Taiwanese National Team before joining Hyundai Capital full-time.
Currently, Hyundai Capital and the men’s volleyball team competing in the Chengdu Summer World University Games (Universiade) are jointly training at Castle Off Skywalkers in Cheonan.
HCM’s Kim Sun-ho, Lee Hyun-seung, Hong Dong-sun, and Jung Tae-joon will play under the Korean flag at the Summer Universiade.
On the 25th, Hyundai Capital will also hold a practice match with the men’s national volleyball team in preparation for the Asian Championships. 파워볼사이트
