MOON NA-YOON 5TH, CHO EUN-BI 6TH IN WOMEN’S DIVING 10M PLATFORM

Moon Na-yoon (26, Jeju Provincial Government) finished fifth in the women’s diving 10-meter platform individual event at the Hangzhou Asian Games. Cho Eun-bi (28, Incheon Metropolitan Government) finished sixth. Moon scored 258.75 points to finish fifth out of eight in the women’s 10-meter platform diving final at the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games on Wednesday at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Pool in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, China. Sixth-place finisher Cho Eun-bi scored 255.20 points .On Sept. 30, the pair teamed up for the women’s synchro 10-meter platform final, where they finished fourth with 263.49 points. Moon and Cho ended the competition without a medal. In the women’s 10-meter platform individual competition, Quan Hongchan (CHN) won with 438.20 points, beating teammate Chen Yuxi (435.65) by 2.55 points. After being in second place through the fourth period, Quan Hongchan pulled off a thrilling upset in the fifth period with a difficulty level 3.2 routine (5253B) that included two and a half laps in a beating motion and one and a half laps in a pike position with legs extended and arms holding the legs, earning 94.40 points. She also won the synchronized 10-meter platform with 스포츠토토 Chen Yuxi, making it a two-peat.
