The 2023-2024 KB Go League has completed its player selection and is in the early stages of the season.

The KB Go League held its second player selection ceremony at the Korean Origin of Majang-ro in Seongdong-gu on Tuesday, with eight team managers in attendance.

The KB League, which held the selection ceremony for players 1-3 on July 7, finalized the selection for players 4-5 and even a candidate player at the second selection ceremony.

At the second selection ceremony, Ulsan Koryo Aeon drew attention by selecting Kim Chae-young 8th dan as their fifth player.

As the only female player selected this season, it will be interesting to see how she performs.

Mahan’s heart, Youngam, also selected Hangzhou Asian Games gold medalist Hsiu Hao-hung 9 dan as a nominee.

Hsieh Hao-hong, the No. 1 player in Taiwanese Go, made waves at the Hangzhou Asian Games when he won the individual gold medal, defeating Shin Shin-seo and Park Jung-hwan and China’s Kerze.

With the selection of the players complete, the KB Go League will begin its campaign next month, starting with the opening match against Korea Mulga Information on March 28 in Hapcheon.

The 2023-2024 KB Go League will be broadcast live every Thursday through Sunday at 7 p.m. on Go TV, Go TV’s YouTube channel, and Naver Sports.

The championship prize is 250 million won, runner-up 100 million won, third place 60 million won, and fourth place 30 million won.

For each match, the winning team will receive 14 million won and the losing team will receive 7 million won. 사설토토
