The National Basketball Association’s (NBA) Dallas Mavericks have gained ground in the standings.

The Mavs defeated the Utah Jazz 113-97 at home on Dec. 22 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.

With the win, Dallas improved to 41-29 and moved into sole possession of sixth place in the Western Conference.
